The project focuses on developing a prediction model and investigating new risk factors for lung cancer.
Our research is based on data from the UK Biobank – a dataset that contains health information and samples from hundreds of thousands of people.

We plan to train a prediction model on this dataset, and investigate its parameters in order to identify the risk factors that most influence the development of lung cancer.

These discovered risk factors have the potential to greatly improve existing prevention and intervention strategies, offering valuable insights for early detection.

Our goal is to deepen the understanding of the causes of lung cancer and by doing so, make contributions to the prevention and management of the disease.
