GreenGuardian Android app contain signup/login process. After it, the user goes to the main app. In the plant’s page the user can easily monitor his plants and get real-time data about their condition. He can create his own plant configuration (recommended moisture, a photo, its breed, notifications preferences etc.) or choose an existing configuration from our growing database. The app contains more features such as a forum for users where they can share plant care tips and get information from other users.
We are using a NodeMCU Wi-Fi board that can send the data directly to the cloud’s real-time database using a unique ID that is pairing a user to a specific board. There is a soil moisture sensor that is in the plant’s soil and wired to the board.
The customer will get a 3D printed vessel that is designed specifically for our purpose that will have built in hardware. All he will need to do is put his plant in the new smart vessel and connect it to the app.
