Unlike standard safety apps, Guardian Angel is designed to bridge the gap between initial suspicion and the actual moment of escape.
It serves as a discreet personal protector that monitors, and prepares the user for a safe transition to freedom, ensuring they have the emotional, legal, and financial resources needed to leave.

Guardian Angel is a mobile application that runs on both Android and iOS smartphones. We build the app using JavaScript and React Native, which allows one codebase to work on both platforms. The system handles a risk-level traffic light (green, yellow, red), a secure journal, and an emergency fund logic directly on the phone. Sensitive information is stored in encrypted local storage, and the app can switch into a disguised interface, such as a calculator, to protect the user’s privacy. In a full version, the app could connect to financial services, but in our prototype the transactions are simulated inside the app.
