Signally is a project that implements a non-intrusive security system using Wi-Fi sensing technology instead of cameras. By analyzing Channel State Information, the system detects disturbances in wireless signals caused by human movement or presence. The solution runs on a Raspberry Pi that continuously captures these signals and processes them using a Python backend to determine if a room is occupied
The system is designed to distinguish between authorized household members and potential intruders by identifying known devices or signal patterns. When an unauthorized person is detected, the system triggers real-time alerts and updates a mobile dashboard. This method provides effective indoor monitoring while ensuring privacy, as it does not collect any video or audio data.
