:תקציר הפרויקט
Smart HomeGuard help households receive fewer but more
useful alerts from their security cameras. Instead of notifying the homeowner every time
someone appears in front of the camera, the system aims to notify them mainly when an
unfamiliar person is detected. Additionally, it gives people the full picture of who was in their
home.
To achieve this, the system uses face recognition to compare detected faces with a list of
people who are already known to the household. When the system detects someone it does
not recognize, it sends an alert to the homeowner. The homeowner can then decide whether
this person is someone they know. If the person is confirmed as familiar, the system
remembers them for the future.
Another important objective is to reduce the effort required from the user. The system is
designed to learn gradually through simple user confirmation, without requiring technical
knowledge. Over time, the camera becomes better at understanding who usually enters the
home and who does not.
In addition, Smart HomeGuard provides a clear event log that shows who entered the house
and when. This feature helps homeowners review activity in a simple and organized way,
rather than scrolling through many video clips.
