SmartWaiter is an AI-driven ordering system designed to solve common restaurant challenges such as long wait times, human errors, and high staff turnover. Using a single unified application, customers scan a table-specific QR code to access a mobile interface where a voice-based AI assistant conversationally takes their orders. This AI can explain menu items, handle modifications, and suggest alternatives if a dish is out of stock. The system then automatically routes food to the kitchen, drinks to the bar, and specific service tasks to runners. Built with React Native, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, the platform provides dedicated, real-time dashboards for customers, staff, and managers to significantly increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction.
