:תקציר הפרויקט
Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative brain disorder that gradually impairs memory, thinking, and behavior, posing a growing public health concern worldwide. Although the biological mechanisms behind the disease have been widely studied, less is known about how environmental and lifestyle factors contribute to its development. In this research, we aim to explore the relationship between factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, loneliness, ethnicity, coffee consumption, and others, and the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. By leveraging the rich health, lifestyle, and demographic data available in the UK Biobank, we seek to identify patterns that may help improve early detection and prevention strategies.
