This workshop explores brain-machine interfaces, combining neuroscience research with Prof. Eilon Vaadia (Edmond & Lily Safra Center, Hebrew University), Prof. Peter Chin (Dartmouth College), and Dr. Sarel Cohen. We aim to develop new ways for humans to communicate with machines using thoughts alone. Our focus includes: (1) Simulating multi-agent games (in particular, network creation games in algorithmic game theory) inspired by neuronal communication to model brain activity. (2) Advancing apps that conduct psychological behavior experiments to deepen our understanding of the brain's action-perception loop. (3) Potentially contributing to research that decodes speech from neural activity in mute individuals using implanted chips, enabling them to communicate. We hope at least one of these directions will yield significant results that might be interesting for the research community.
